DRFC M'Voto agrees two-year deal

Defender Jean Yves M`Voto has agreed a deal to sign for Doncaster Rovers.

The 24-year-old, who was released By Oldham Athletic at the end of last season has agreed a two-year deal at the Keepmoat with the club just awaiting clearance from his homeland of France before finalising the deal.

Rovers boss Paul Dickov says the deal is almost complete and expecting to be finalised before the players leave for their week long training camp in Portugal on Monday.

Speaking on Radio Sheffield, Dickov said, "Jean is all agreed with us. The contract is being emailed over to France to be sorted out and I cannot see any problems. I am confident he will have signed by the time we get to Portugal.

"Jean will be on a two-year contract. He is at a good age at 24. He is still learning and I feel he can get better at a higher level."

M`Voto started his career with French giants Paris St Germain before being snapped up by Premier League side Sunderland.

The 6`4" defender failed to make a senior appearance for Sunderland and after loan spells with Southend United and Oldham Athletic, he signed for the Latics on a permanent deal in 2011.

He made 93 appearances for Oldham in his two seasons at Boundary Park before coming to the end of his contract in June.
