DRFC Dickov looking to add quality and experience

Doncaster Rovers boss Paul Dickov says he is still looking to bring in quality and experience to the side after adding three more players to the squad this weekend.

Dean Furman, Mark Duffy and Jean Yves M`Voto have all signed for the club whilst the deal to bring in Harry Forrester, who is a free agent after coming to the end of his current deal at Brentford, is all but sorted.

Dickov says he is now looking to add some experience to the side as they prepare for life in the championship.

Speaking on Radio Sheffield, Dickov said, "We are searching for quality and experience. We want players who first and foremost know how to get out of the championship and play in it.

We have a young squad at the minute, with the players we have brought in. We want to bring in much needed experience. What we need is two players fighting for each position, so they can really push each other."

Rovers are being linked with a host of vastly experienced players from Aston Villa. Shay Given, Richard Dunne and Stephen Ireland are being linked with a move to the Keepmoat if reports of a huge cash injection from an Irish consortium are to be believed. Former Rovers favourite Billy Sharp is also being linked with a return to the club.
