DRFC Latest from the treatment table
With the international break giving the vast majority of Doncaster Rovers players time to recoup after a busy first month of the season, the club have given an update on how the two long-term injured players are doing on their road to recovery.
Marc De Val Fernandez is running again after suffering a knee ligament injury in the pre-season game against Motherwell.
Fernandez is still around a month away from a return to first team action, with him not expected to start kicking a ball for another two weeks.
Defender Jamie McCombe is still a long way off a return to first team football and he isn`t expected to return before 2014.
McCombe is wearing a back brace for the back injury that he suffered in the first half of last season.
At the moment he is just working on the bike and doing arm weights on his long road to recovery.
The duo are the only players that Rovers currently have on the sidelines through injury.
