New Injury Crisis

Rovers could be short on defenders for the game on Friday against Oldham.

James O'Connor has been struggling with a groin injury but will hopefully be able to take part. Gareth Roberts is a more serious doubt after missing the Scunthorpe match with a knee injury.

Adam Lockwood has had treatment on a back injury and is back in training and will be hoping the injury does not flare back up.

Jan Budtz has an injured toe although should be ok to play whilst Alan Blayney works on his fitness.

James Coppinger is also a big doubt for the game with a groin injury.Mark McCammon has an ankle injury and will miss out.

Youngster Adam Brown has a serious knee injury after colliding with a goal post in training and will be out of the game for a number of months.

Sean O'Driscoll may ask other players to be flexible to cover any positions hit by injury.

Do you hate it how your stadium is called Earth Stadium it sounds abit plain dont it? It will be a tough game against Oldham.
jono_forest
it wont be that hard against oldham the only reason it will be difficult is because of the injuries and we are moving in to a new stadium soon so it wont be called earth stadium and most people dont use that name they use belle vue.

Thats no good we need him friday! Baz needs to put in for a pay rise he's the busiest person at the club.

We are not having much luck with injuries this season. Our luck must change soon.

its been the same ever since we got promoted, but thats how it goes I suppose. We hardly had any the year we won the league.

I've heard a rumour that two premiership players are coming to belle vue on loan and should be available for selection for tomorrow night's game. Don't know who though. Just hope they're not from premier league darts!!
ROversNaith
Yes the official site said that SOD was talking to one that may come and be available. The second would not join until after the weekend. Do you know what positions they play?

John Filan has joined on loan from Wigan to cover for Blayney, Warrington & Budtz.

It's just been announced that the first one is John Filan, a goal keeper from Wigan. He used to be Blackburn's No.1 until Friedel took over. Looks like he's in the squad for tonight. Our defence has been quite good so far this season, but we do seem to like to keep Baz Windle busy with at least two keepers injured for most of the time. Let's hope moral and confidence is boosted by at least two of our strikers finding the target tonight!

i hope it will be a good game tonight and rovers get all the three points we need to start wining this is the time to do it . COME ON YOU REDS.
