DRFC Furman on target as Africa bow out
Vital Doncaster Rovers looks at how the Rovers players have done on international duty this weekend.
Dean Furman played the 90 minutes and he was on target for South Africa in their 4-1 win over Botswana.
On loan Tottenham Hotspur defender Bongani Khumalo also completed the 90 minutes for Africa as they bowed out of the World Cup after Ethiopia secured the win they needed to top the group.
Ethiopia won 2-1 at Central African Republic to book their place in Brazil next summer.
Theo Robinson was an unused substitute for Jamaica in their 0-0 draw in Panama.
Jamaica played most of the second half with ten-men after Leeds United midfielder Rodolph Austin was sent off.
The Reggae Boyz remain four points off a play-off place with just three games remaining in their group.
Robinson will hope to feature when they face group leaders Costa Rica in Jamaica on Tuesday.
Luke McCullough will be in the Northern Ireland squad for their European under-21 championship qualifier in Belgium on Monday.
