DRFC Khumalo to have last laugh?

The international break is over and the championship returns this afternoon with Doncaster Rovers making the trip to Reading.

Reading will be looking for a response after picking up just one point from a possible six before the international break whilst Rovers enjoyed a victory over promotion chasing Leicester City in their last game.

SkyBet have Reading at 8/13 for the game, Rovers are 9/2 and it is 14/5 on the draw.

Reading could have a familiar face to Rovers fans in their line-up. Billy Sharp joined Reading on loan recently from Southampton. He scored twice for Southampton in his only previous appearance against Rovers after leaving the club where he enjoyed three successful seasons.

Sharp is 9/2 to score the first goal this afternoon.

Rovers haven`t won at Reading since 1984 when Alan Brown scored a hat trick for the club in a 4-1 win. Rovers will be hoping that Chris, the son of Alan, can lead Rovers to victory and the striker is 9/1 to open the scoring.

Bongani Khumalo had an unsuccessful brief loan spell with Reading in 2011/12 from parent club Tottenham Hotspur. Khumalo returned to Spurs in February after making just four appearances in what was supposed to be a season long loan.

Khumalo is 33/1 to score the first goal for Rovers this afternoon.
