DRFC Charlton v Doncaster - Over The Years
Vital Doncaster looks at Rovers head-to-head record at Charlton Athletic over the years.
The two sides have only ever met on six previous occasions. Charlton have won four and Doncaster have won two.
Doncaster won for the only time at Charlton on their previous meeting when goals from James Coppinger and Brian Stock secured a 2-1 win.
They were well on their way to making it two wins in a row at the Valley earlier this season when they led 3-1 at half time when the referee abandoned the game because of a waterlogged pitch.
Chris Brown had netted twice and Paul Keegan was also on target, as Rovers raced into a three-goal lead. The referee took the players off the pitch with heavy rain falling. He finally allowed the game to restart with Charlton getting back into the game with a goal and they also had a numerical advantage after Paul Keegan was sent off after receiving his second yellow card.
The referee decided to end the game at half time as heavy rain continued to fall.
