DRFC Rovers agree to Syers loan extension

Doncaster Rovers midfielder David Syers is to extend his loan deal at Scunthorpe United into a third and final month.

Syers, who is due to end his current deal at Glanford Park after the game at Wycombe Wanderers this weekend, has made a huge impression since signing for the Iron in October.

The 26-year-old has made ten appearances for Scunthorpe, helping them to six wins and a draw, propelling them into a play-off place and they are currently just one point behind leaders Oxford United.

Rovers have included a 24-hour recall clause in the loan deal.

Obviously not in the plans of Dickov.

With Forrester almost back in contention, we have n overload of midfielders. Wouldn't be surprised if he left in January.
