DRFC Sharp to sink the seasiders?

Doncaster Rovers travel to Blackpool this afternoon buoyed by the first win in two months against Wigan Athletic last weekend and the arrival of former favourite Billy Sharp on loan.

Blackpool are a club in turmoil at the moment and they sacked manager Paul Ince in midweek after a run of nine games without a win.

Despite their form, SkyBet make Blackpool even-money to claim the three points this afternoon. Doncaster proved to be the coupon busters last weekend with their defeat of inform Wigan. Despite being in the relegation zone, Doncaster have had a busy January in the transfer window bringing in experienced defenders Gabriel Tamas and Abdoulaye Meite as well as the arrival of Sharp. Doncaster have also welcomed back a host of players back from injury and the 13/5 on offer looks a decent price for Rovers to make it back-to-back wins for the first time this season.

The Tangerines have now gone 385 minutes since their last championship goal and they have bolstered their attacking options with the arrival of Scottish international striker David Goodwillie from Blackburn and winger Andy Halliday from Middlesbrough.

Blackpool have relied on the goals of Tom Ince this season and he could be making his last appearance for the club this afternoon with a number of clubs keen to sign him. Ince, who scored their last league goal against Leeds United on Boxing Day, is 5/1 to score the first goal today.

Doncaster fans will be looking to Billy Sharp to pull them away from the relegation zone. Sharp scored 41 goals in his previous spell with the club and he is 6/1 to open the scoring on his return today.
