Wilson admits Referee got both decisions wrong

Barnsley boss Danny Wilson was in agreement with Doncaster Rovers boss Paul Dickov on the two controversial decisions that went against them in the Yorkshire derby at the Keepmoat.

Wilson admitted he felt peeved after seeing a Martin Crainie header disallowed for a foul in the first half, a goal that would have given them a 2-0 lead before half time.

The Barnsley boss also felt that referee Andy D`Urso missed the tackle that should have led to Rovers being awarded a penalty after Martin Woods brought down James Husband in the area.

Speaking to BBC Radio Sheffield, Wilson said, "I haven`t spoken to the referee but apparently he has said there was some pushing in there. I have seen it and analysed it and there was nothing going on.

"We have to take it on the chin put we do feel peeved about it.

"We thought it was a penalty. We thought he went over an outstretched leg and it was a penalty, we cannot argue with it.

"For some reason, Andy D`Urso turned away for a split second and when he turned back round the player was on the floor."

The game finished 2-2, a result that sees Barnsley remain seven points behind Rovers in the championship table.

About time D'Urso hung up his whistle. Apart from one day at Wembley in 2008, he ha been a shocking referee for many years.
