DRFC Robinson back in contention

DRFC Robinson back in contention

Doncaster Rovers boss Paul Dickov could be boosted by the return of striker Theo Robinson for the game at Yeovil Town this weekend.

Robinson hasn`t featured since suffering a knee injury in the game at Queens Park Rangers on New Year`s Day. He has returned slightly ahead of schedule and he could be involved at Yeovil. "He has been back in training this week,` Dickov told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"He will have a good few hours in training today and there is a chance he will be involved on Saturday."

His return is a welcome boost for Rovers who are still without fellow striker Billy Sharp. The striker, on loan from Southampton is currently serving a three-match suspension and he will miss the next two games following his sending off at Brighton and Hove Albion recently.

Robinson will add options in attack after Dickov brought in Aston Villa striker Jordan Bowery last week on an initial one-month loan deal and he replaced Sharp in the starting line-up last weekend.
