DRFC Rovers receive sponsorship boost

Doncaster Rovers have held on to two of their main sponsors despite their relegation to League One.

Shirt sponsors One Call Insurance as well as Stoneacre Motor Group will continue their sponsorship of the club as the side look to bounce back from the disappointment of relegation on the final day of the season at Leicester City.

Both sponsors could have reduced the terms of their deal with the club following their relegation but have decided to continue to back the club at the same deal they had in the championship giving Rovers a huge financial boost.

A press release stated, "Having spoken to the club`s commercial manager, Andrew Whitham, and listened to the messages coming out of Doncaster Rovers through Gavin Baldwin and Paul Dickov, we`re confident that the club will be challenging for promotion next season" said Nik Springthorpe, the managing director of One Call Insurance.

"Our association with Doncaster Rovers has been a long and successful partnership and we`re putting our full faith in the club to return to the Championship. With that in mind and, despite relegation this season, we`re maintaining our sponsorship value at the Championship rate."
