DRFC Rovers fans to clock up the miles next season

Doncaster Rovers fans face almost 5000 miles on the road next season following the club in League One.

Fans will clock up 4948 miles travelling from the Keepmoat stadium and back watching Rovers at their 23 League One away games next season.

Rovers have a number of local games to look forward to next season with Barnsley, Bradford City, Chesterfield, Notts County, Scunthorpe United and Sheffield United within 50 miles of the Keepmoat Stadium.

There will also be a couple of first trips for Doncaster Rovers with them making their first visits to Chesterfield and Fleetwood at their current grounds.

The longest trip of the season is to Huish Park to face Yeovil Town, a round trip of 486 miles.

The fixtures for the 2014/15 season will be announced at 9am on Monday June 18th.

*The mileage has been taken from a well-known Automobile Association website with nothing to do with having a drink problem. It is worked out from ground to ground, including a round trip.
