DRFC Former Forest striker having Rovers trial

Doncaster Rovers are giving a trial to experienced striker Nathan Tyson following his release by Blackpool at the end of last season.

The 32-year-old made his Rovers debut in the 2-0 defeat at Lincoln City on Saturday as he looked to impress boss Paul Dickov.

The vastly experienced striker has scored 94 goals in 429 appearances in a career that has seen him play for ten clubs.

Tyson failed to score last season in 25 appearances that saw him play for Blackpool as well as loan spells at Fleetwood Town and Notts County.

I thought he had much better strike rate than he does. On his way down and I don't think he has the fight for league one
