Take A Tour Of The New Stadium

On Sunday the 17 December you can view the new Doncaster Lakeside stadium. The first sporting fixture at the stadium takes place on 27 December when Doncaster Dragons take on Sheffield Eagles. The first Rovers fixture is on New Years Day against Huddersfield Town.

The event is free, and no tickets are required. The stadium opens at 1pm and will close at 4pm.

Those attending will only have access to seats in the South and West stands, though you will be able to walk around the perimeter of the pitch.

Martin Winter (Mayor) said: 'I promised the people of Doncaster a stadium and I have delivered that and more. This is a fantastic opportunity to have a refreshing change from Christmas shopping and see the sports complex at its very best. I urge you to take advantage of this unique chance to celebrate this milestone for Doncaster.'

An announcement regarding the stadium sponsorship is due to be announced soon. It is widely rumoured that DFS will be the sponsors.
