Albrighton Heads to Darlington

Dave Penney has today signed Mark Albrighton on loan from Boston United.

The Sarge was a member of the Rovers squad that won promotion from the Conference and the Division Three Championship.

Penney released Albrighton in the summer and the centre-back joined Boston United.

Dave Wheater, another player who played under Penney at Rovers, is also rumoured to be moving to Darlington on loan.

Strange. Some people were saying that Brighty and Penney did not get on. Seems that some people were stirring up trouble.
