'If It's Football, It's Vital'

O'Driscoll Comments

Sean O'Driscoll comments after the Brentford win and looks ahead.

'The new ground is great. It isn't going to solve all our problems but it is a step in the right direction. Belle Vue has had its time if we want to attract better players and better sponsors then it is the way forward.

'The town has got behind us as well so that's important. Doncaster is a big football town, they have had success in the past and we are trying to get them to the next level by taking the right steps.

'If you are trying to attract players and you have a brand new stadium then it has got to help. Doncaster is an area that is on the up and hopefully the football club can follow suit.'

'I have been trying to get defensive cover for the last month but the players we wanted we just couldn't get and there is no point in bringing people in for the sake of it.

'We thought before the loan deadline we would get one or two in but it is like being the bottom of the chain when you are buying a house - everybody else is waiting to get someone else in as well.'

'My two central defenders are being wrapped in cotton wool and that was why I brought them off. They are both on four bookings so one more leaves them suspended. That will give us problems sooner or later.'

Lets hope we can get to Jan without Lee & Lockwood picking up another yellow card. Whatever happens, we cannot afford them both to get booked in the same game.
