New Doncaster Stadium: Catering

The third floor restaurant (East Stand) is mainly at the disposal of Premier Club members on match days, but four tables of ten persons each remain available for anyone to book seats together or individually.

A second restaurant/lounge is being created by Rovers in vacant space on the second floor of the East Stand and will be available from 2007-8 season.

Food will also be available in the Lakeside Suite (the supporters` bar in the West Stand), and in all concourse areas.

The catering contractor for the whole stadium is EMC, who will employ an on-site Chef, and who will provide a wide variety of quality food, including vegetarian.

There are a total of 24 licensed premises in the stadium, 17 of which are open to the public attending matches.

The bars have open licenses, meaning that the SMC can dictate opening hours of their choosing, subject to any occasional overriding safety issues.

The supporters` bar will have a capacity of 560, and is fitted out to a very high standard.

Any requirement to have a membership would depend on demand, although there will always have to be some form of stewarding to control numbers.

The supporters` bar availability to the public on non-match days will be based on demand, and it will also be available (as the Lakeside Suite) for public hire functions.

Match day opening hours for the supporters` bar before kick off will initially be 1.00 pm (day time matches) and 6.15 pm (night matches) and the bar will remain open until 30 to 45 minutes after kick off. The bar will re-open at the end of the match until normal closing time. However, these hours will be extended or otherwise amended dependent on demand.

Concourse bars will be open as soon as the stadium opens its doors, and will remain open throughout the match and until fans have dispersed.

All four concourses will have drink, food, and betting kiosks.
