its really going to happen!! eight years ago I never thought I would see Doncaster play another game at Belle Vue, heading towards the conference no money and no players but now we have finally got a fantastic new stadium. I want to start this by saying thank god for John Ryan. memories: my first game was Derby county in the league cup in 1976 what I mainly remember about this was the crowd violence unfortunately but since then my fondest memory will always be beating Bournemouth 2-1 to gain promotion in the 80/81 season. I have also been lucky enough to be club mascot in 1984 against Bolton and leading the Rovers out will always be something I fondly remember. I used to love the ground before the Bradford fire in 1985 meant we had to remove the cow sheds what a great atmosphere was generated with everyone banging their feet, the huge away end and also what was quite a big popular side until it subsided in the late eighties. I don't get to Doncaster very often but I will find it very hard to drive down Bawtry Road without a slight tear in my eye once the old ladies gone. Thanks for the memories heres to new memories being created at fortress keepmoat. Thanks for all the wonderful

End of an era, I'm sure it'll be a very poignant and emotional moment for most of you. Hopefully, the team can leave with a win.

My father taking me to an FA cup replay in 1957 or 58. Sitting in the Main Stand stamping my feet with every one else. Then becoming a Rovers Supporter for life. Taking my eldest son to Norwich for an FA cup game, then to Aldershot for a league game. My two sons following me and becoming Rovers supporters. (hoping that my grandson will also follow us. He is 2 but as already been to Belle Vue) Tears will flow on Sat no doubt.

The best match for me was last season against Villa. That is the best I have ever seen any Doncaster Rovers side perfom. Belle Vue was a big advantage to Rovers. Teams hated coming here. Visiting teams were lucky is they had hot water in the changing rooms. The crowd was on top of the players.
