SOD Is Happy

After yet another impressive win, Sean O'Driscoll said:

'I thought we started well and scored when we were on top. I also thought we defended well as a team and I'm well pleased.

'Bradford are a good passing side, but we have one or two players who can break things up.

'There was also good defensive work by everyone, including a great save by goalkeeper Ben Smith from Dean Windass near the end.

'We also hit them on the break and I always felt we could score a second goal.'

the game against Blackpool on saturday has a completely different look about it from the last time we met and played a drab 0-0. Both clubs wanted to sack their managers it just goes to show have a little patience!

I always was and I repeatedly stood up for him when all the get O'Driscoll out brigade was at him. You only have to look how you have struggled since he left. I must admit I heard the funniest song sang to him on saturday by fans just behind the dugout. too the tune winter wonderland: Only one sean O'driscoll " " " " first he was *****e but now he's alright walking in an O'driscoll wonderland.

Haha, not quite what we had for him "Only one Sean O'Driscoll, One Sean O'Driscoll, He's ugly as ****, but he kept us up, walking in O'Driscoll wonderland!" I understand you supported him, but I meant to imply the genearl consenses of the Doncaster supporters. And yes we have struggled, big time, and yes we will ahve him back, please?!

you know what its like with supporters a few wins and they soon forget, if we lose a couple they will start again! I think the biggest problem with a few fans are they wanted a big name appointment when Penney left and was disappointed with a relatively unknown ( unless you are a Bournemouth supporter) so any chance to get on his back I think they will with the hope of bringing in a bigger name. A few important factors for me are how highly the Rovers chairman thinks of him and anyone from within the club always says how much he knows about the game. No disrespect to Bournemouth but what he did at a small club with the limited cash he had to work with he worked wonders and you only have to look at afcb's form since he left. I think a few fans say he's too quiet! well he obviously as got men around him to do the shouting and he must have excellent man management skills. Tony Gale was talking about him on sky and said his nickname at Fulham when he was younger was "Noisy".
