New Deal For Smith?
Speaking to BBC Radio Sheffield, Sean O'Driscoll said: 'He (Ben Smith) is very enthusiastic, maybe a bit impetuous at times for a keeper but he shows that only in training.
'He's not impetuous in games so that has been a big plus. He does all the simple things well and he has almost got a new contract under his belt.'
Smith joined Rovers in August. His current deal runs out in the summer.

he deserves to be part of the squad he's played well when called upon, I would like to see us get rid of blayney and budtz and sign sullivan from Leeds.

Smith deserves it. He has not let us down. I would expect either Budtz, Warrington or Blayney to be leaving in January.
