'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Huddersfield View

Peter Jackson, had this to say following Huddersfield's three-nil thumping at the Keepmoat Stadium.

'It is disappointing because we came here full of confidence.

'It was important given the carnival atmosphere that we did not give them a lift and we concede after just ten minutes.

'We battled back into the game and Michael Collins had a great chance, but eight minutes of madness in the second half has cost us.

'We have had decent form of late and we can recover from this. We did not get the result we wanted today but, I know I keep saying it, there is still a long way to go this season. The key for us is to stop giving sloppy goals away.'

Good on him for not blaming the Ref or "dirty Rovers play" or looking for another excuse. I was sure he'd say the loss wasn't their fault.
