'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Ex Man Utd Star To Stay?

Sean O'Driscoll had the following to say about midfieder Mark Wilson during his weekly press conference:

'Mark joined us on a short-term contract because it was an opportunity for him to get back into the swing of things over here after playing in America.

'Since he has been here Mark has done his prospects no harm with the way that he has played and the way he has conducted himself. We are extremely pleased with what he has done since he has been here.

'He gives you a bit of strength in midfield and he has an experienced head. He is also an intelligent footballer.

'It depends on whether anyone comes in for Mark and whether he is happy to stay on at Doncaster. One thing that could influence any decision he makes is the fact that he lives in Scunthorpe and Doncaster is only down the road.'

He has played well. Wilson is a good back-up to Stock.
