Heffernan Bid REJECTED

According to newspaper reports in Southend, Doncaster Rovers have rejected a bid from the Shrimpers for Paul Heffernan.

The Rovers striker is on fire at the moment, and recently won the League One player of the month.

good, we certainly don't want to lose are main striker and shouldn't allow are top players to go if we realistically want to get into the championship.

Others may try to entice him away. It is up to the Management to say NO. I agree if we want to get into the Championship we will need quality players to get us up.

It wouldn't make any sense to move to a new stadium, be two points off the place-offs, nine points off the top of the league and sell our in-form striker. The club has very little, if any, debt, He's going no-where
