Scunthorpe United will include new loan signing Jermaine Beckford in the squad for their first visit to the Keepmoat. Beckford has signed until the season from Leeds United after previously being on loan at Carlisle.

Scunthorpe have a number of players out through injury and suspension, notably striker Billy Sharp. Also missing will be Cliff Byrne, Ian Baraclough and Marcus Williams.

Former Rovers defender Steve Foster should play alongside Andy Crosby and Dave Mulligan may get a start.

Rovers have left back Gareth Roberts back after suspension though it is expected that Rovers will continue with the team that beat Gillingham 2-0 last weekend.

With injuries, suspensions and new signings it would appear that their team tomorrow won't be a settled one. If we keep a clean sheet we should be able to nick a goal or two
