Former Preston & Doncaster Ace Ban

Former Preston & Doncaster Ace Ban

Former Doncaster Rovers striker Micky Norbury has had his six-year ban from football reduced. The ban was imposed after the popular Rovers striker was charged with two accounts of a abusing a match official back in November.

Norbury, who previously played for Preston North End, asked the PFA to help in his appeal.

The former Rovers striker, who netted a hat-trick against Scunthorpe United in that famous five-nil away game, has had the ban reduced to 182 days, and a second 182 days ban suspended for two years.
