DRFC Rovers Linked With Move For Bolton Striker
Doncaster Rovers are being linked with a move for Bolton Wanderers striker Jamie Proctor.
The Bolton News are reporting that Doncaster along with South Yorkshire neighbours Rotherham United have already enquired about the 25-year-old.
Proctor joined Bolton on a two-year deal last summer from Bradford City but he scored just once in 29 appearances and he spent the second half of the season on loan with Carlisle United where he scored four goals in 19 appearances.
Doncaster have already added Alex Kiwomya to their attacking options this summer after he joined the club from Chelsea last week.
Andy Williams has been placed on the transfer list this summer despite scoring 12 goals last season and there is still uncertainty over the future of last season`s leading goalscorer in League Two John Marquis.
Marquis scored 26 goals in his first season at Doncaster and manager Darren Ferguson is hoping to sort out a new deal for the striker this summer, with him moving into the final year of his current deal and reported interest from other clubs.
