DRFC Former Keeper Fighting Leukaemia
Former Doncaster Rovers loan goalkeeper Carl Ikeme is fighting acute Leukaemia.
The 31-year-old Nigerian international, who plays for Wolverhampton Wanderers, was diagnosed with acute Leukaemia after returning abnormal results during blood tests on his return to pre-season training with the Championship club.
Ikeme is now set to undergo a course of chemotherapy.
Ikeme joined Doncaster on loan from Wolves in November 2011 and he made 15 appearances for the club in the Championship.
Vital Doncaster would like to wish Carl Ikeme all the best during his fight against the disease.
