DRFC Rovers Include Three Trialists At Tadcaster

Doncaster Rovers included three trialists in their squad at Tadcaster Albion on Saturday.

Frenchman Issam Ben Khemis and young ex-Nottingham Forest defender Charlie Jemson, the son of former Forest striker Nigel Jemson, started the game and former Crystal Palace player Reise Allassani came on for the final 30 minutes.

Khemis, who was released by French league side Lorient at the end of the season, impressed manager Darren Ferguson and he is expected to feature in the home friendly against Derby County on Tuesday evening.

'The young French boy that we've brought in from Lorient is very good. He's a very good technical player," Ferguson told the Doncaster Free Press .

'You always worry with the physical side of it but he looked fine to me.

'The other two lads, young Charlie who was just released by Nottingham Forest. He is very young, only 18, we had a look at him.

'And then the other boy that came on, he's been out for ten months. He got released by Palace. He's got ability, you can see that.

'The two midfield boys are good technically.

'The French boy was a bonus. I thought he did more than enough to certainly have another look at him."

Reise Allassani was released by Crystal Palace at the end of last season. Allasani missed most of last season after suffering a cruciate knee ligament injury.

Jemson is a towering centre-back with an eye for goal.
