Blayney To Return To Brighton?

Alan Blayney has today joined Brighton on trial, hoping to win himself a contract with the club. As a free agent, he can sign for the League One club outside of the transfer window.

Blayney was released by Rovers last month and will be hoping to find himself a new club, or rather, a previous club. Blayney had two loan spells with the Seagulls whilst they were a Championship side.

Rovers signed Blayney for 50,000 from Southampton last season.

50k is a lot to lose on a keeper in just a year. We must really have wanted to make room for someone/Sullivan(?). Of course we can still sign Sullivan on loan and then he's a free agent in the summer.

we have freed up quite a bit on wages in the last month so that means we can afford to bring in some quality championship players on loan if need be and at the moment some would jump at the chance to play for the divisions form team and at the new stadium.
