'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Post Carlisle Comments

Hear what Sean O'Driscoll had to say after his Rovers team lost to Carlisle United.

'We set ourselves very high standards and when you fall short of that obviously you are disappointed. But we didn't get carried away when we were doing well so we're not going to react the other way after losing one game.

'Both teams played during the week and I just thought it looked a case of a game too far because we were both a bit lacklustre.

'I thought we might grind out a win but two fantastic strikes have done us.

'After we scored the game never really got going for us. I thought 1-0 might be enough but our passing was not up to the usual standard.'

I am worried about us being knackered, we have a hard game against tranmere on saturday and then 48hrs later a big cup game. Lets hope we haven't run out of steam and it was just the kick up the backside we needed.
