Hird Signs From Leeds

As revealed earlier this week on this site, Sam Hird has joined Rovers. The young defender had been due to sign last week but a hold up with his paper work had delayed his move.

Hird has been captaining the Leeds Reserve side and hopes that the loan spell will see him get some competitive league game experience.

The 19 year old, a centre half who can also play in midfield, joins on a three month loan deal.

who will he replace in the first team??

Not sure, I could just have been brought in to create more competition for places. In my opinion Paul Green has been playing poorly lately especially when he was playing as right-back. Not as many of his passing were completed as should have been.
