DRFC Ferguson - It Is A Game We Want To Win

Doncaster Rovers boss Darren Ferguson says he will field his strongest possible side for the clash with Scunthorpe United on Sunday.

Doncaster welcome Scunthorpe to the Keepmoat for a third time this season, and they will be looking to progress in the FA Cup, with the possibility of landing a money-spinning draw in the third round when the big-boys from the Premier League enter the competition.

"I will pick what I feel is the strongest team on the day," Ferguson told BBC Radio Sheffield.

"It is a game we want to win and we want to get through.

"I think I have shown all along that I want to play my strongest team and Sunday is no different."

Ian Lawlor, Joe Wright, Andy Butler, James Coppinger, Jordan Houghton, Tommy Rowe and John Marquis are all expected to return to the starting line-up after being rested in the Checkatrade Trophy in midweek.
