Roberts Out For Weeks

Roberts Out For Weeks

Left back Gareth Roberts, stretched off during the JPT game against Crewe on Monday, will face a race against time to be fit for the final of the competition at the Millenium Stadium, Cardiff.

Roberts has a hamstring injury and looks to be out of action for about six weeks. Rovers could now look to bring in another left back on loan, and are believed to have speaking to a Premiership club about borrowing a player.

Sean McDaid is still regaining his fitness after injury though Sean O'Driscoll may play youngster Craig Nelthorpe. Nelly, who has been playing in a more attacking role of late, could be called into the team after impressing when coming on as a substitute during the game against Crewe.
