Crewe Get Doncaster Revenge

Crewe Get Doncaster Revenge

Would you rather pick up three vital league points or enjoy a trip out in Cardiff?

Whilst it seemed the Rovers players were making arrangements for Cardiff, the Crewe team picked up three league points.

Crewe just edged it last night but both teams had enough chances to win the game last night.

Most Rovers fans believe that the Donny squad is lacking depth to maintain a serious promotion push. A lot of matches in a short period of time, plus a virus in the camp is taking its toll. O'Driscoll has sent five players out on loan, three of which have first team experience. Whilst in Donny he only realistically has 17 players left to chose from, including two 'keepers. With games coming thick and fast, his decision not to strengthen the squad in the transfer window could be Donny's downfall.

Since winning the manager of the month award in January, Rovers have only picked up one league point from a possible twelve.

What is worrying is that Rovers have only won three times against teams in the top half of the table.
