Chelsea Kid Doncaster Bound

Harry Worley has joined Doncaster Rovers on loan from Premiership champions Chelsea. Whilst a large majority of Rovers fans were expecting a forward to join, Sean O'Driscoll has opted to strengthen the defence.

The 6'3 centre-back goes into the squad to face Nottingham Forest tomorrow night.

Worley started his career at Stockport. The Premiership giants paid £150k for his services.

Speaking on the Rovers Official Website Worley said: 'I had a call this morning from my Academy Manager Neil Bath to say that Rovers had shown an interest in me. I had a chat with the manager and knew straight away that I wanted to come here so jumped on a train and here I am!

'I've come here to gain some experience and be part of a first team set up. I don't know what the future holds although I still have another year on my contract at Chelsea. I hope to do my best for this club while I am here and see how it goes.'

Which game was it recently where Lee finished the game playing up front? Could be the line of thought!! Anyway, with signing another defender Paul Green must be giving a sigh of relief!
