McCammon Out For Season?

Mark McCammon looks set to miss around six weeks of football after dislocating his shoulder during the match against Nottingham Forest.

The striker, who is out of contract at the end of the season, was stretched off during Rovers 1-0 victory over Forest on Tuesday.

James Coppinger was also substitued during the game with a groin injury and is struggling to be fit for the team's visit to Oldham on Sunday.

Some fans are pointing the finger of blame at physio John Dicken over the recent injury and illness crisis. He is tagged with bringing the injury curse with him from Sheffield Wednesday who suffered an almost unprecedented number of injuries in recent times.

McCammon looked really lively prior to the injury at our place - hope he has a speedy recovery.
goddammit
Does anyone remember, when we signed him last summer, didn't we only give him a one year contract?
