'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Oldham Boss Comments

John Sheridan post-match comments:

'It's very pleasing to beat teams like Doncaster.

'Possibly the scoreline flattered us a little, but we deserved to win the game and I'm happy for the lads.

'We played well and could have been two or three one up at half-time - they had one decent chance, too.

'Then they looked very dangerous for fifteen minutes in the second half, but we responded well and kicked on once the second goal went in.

'We needed that bounce to Rocastle in the box to get things moving, and to be fair Doncaster taking the game to us - they have some good footballers.

'We rode our luck a little, but I think we had the better chances overall.'
