'If It's Football, It's Vital'

O'Driscoll Slams Doncaster Fans

Since arriving from Bournemouth Sean O'Driscoll has never been accepted by Rovers fans and his outburst after a dismal home performance against Cheltenham Town will not help improve the fans-manager relationship.

O'Driscoll said:'The result was disappointing but I thought the players were brave and showed their character in the second half.'

'The negativity of the crowd got through to the players and it didn't help matters.

'It's a vicious circle and they need to show a little bit of patience at times.'

In the last ten league matches Rovers have picked up just 8 points.

I have always stuck up for him but I feel if we lose the JPT final I think the fans will drive him out!

He's always been very negative in interviews and has never shown any passion, you get the same dull response in post match interviews regardless of the result. Whether he means to or not he gives the impression of not caring about Doncaster Rovers.

......IN FACT......I've just realised, apart from Worley (who let's face it had a dismal first half) there wasn't much negativity aimed at the players, most of what I heard was aimed at SO'D for taking Copps off and not doing much else.
