'If It's Football, It's Vital'

O'Driscoll Post Match Comments

Sean O'Driscoll post-match comments after defeat to Cheltenham Town.

'It was obviously a disappointing result for us. It was a difficult game from start to finish. The incidents that happened frustrated everybody.

'The lack of support was disappointing.

'They played 4-5-1 and made it really difficult for us.

'Because we lacked a physical presence due to injuries we had to be patient on the ball and try and move it around.

'But as soon as we do that we get a bit of negativity from the crowd which then impacts on the players who start doing the wrong things and it becomes a vicious circle.

'It would have been different had we had Mark McCammon or Jason Price because we could probably have worked off a big man up front.

'But we had three quick forwards so we had to be a bit more intricate in the way we played and tried to break people down.

'I thought that we were excellent in the second half and everyone showed a great deal of character. I thought that the players were brave and took responsibility.'
