'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Bristol Rovers View

Bristol Rovers skipper Stuart Campbell thoughts on the Doncaster Rovers - Bristol Rovers final.

'Everybody says this is a great day out and a great day for the club. But as far as I'm concerned, the only way it's a great day is if we go and win - which we've got every intention of doing.'

'It would be a fantastic achievement for all the players and everyone connected with the club if we could actually do it. We've come this far and I think we've had a fairly hard run to get here - not only beating Bristol City over two legs, but also Wycombe away and Peterborough.

'Of course, Doncaster will start as favourites because they are from a division above us, but we are going there to win it.

'I've been to the Millennium Stadium a few times before to watch various games and it's a fantastic venue for football, as well as a great location - it's right in the city centre.

'Although I've been there as a spectator, I never thought I'd get the chance to go there as a player - and now the opportunity has come along, I want to grab it with both hands.

'The support we will take with us is phenomenal. Our fans are going to outnumber theirs by about two to one and I'm sure the noise they make will be to our advantage.

'We were only able to take about 3,000 to Ashton Gate for the area final, but you wouldn't have thought it because of the way they got behind us.

'It was the same at the Memorial Stadium, where the atmosphere was fantastic.

'I hope the roof is shut on Sunday at the Millennium Stadium because that will make the atmosphere even better.'
