Draw At Orient As Fans Fight

Watching a Sean O'Driscoll side can make anyone go off the rails and so it proved today. Rovers were not in the game in the first half and were lucky not to be losing by a heavier score at the interval.

Apart from Orient scoring and missing a number of chances, the other event of note was when sections of the Rovers travelling army decided to exchange words, chants and then handbags over the performance of Sean Thornton and Sean O'Driscoll. Thankfully a number of stewards stepped in, before punches were exchanged. The sad event caused a number of young families to move away from that area. Pathetic.

Rovers were much better in the second half and drew level thanks to a well taken goal by Adam Lockwood. Dyer, Green, Dyer again, Stock, Dyer again all had chances to put Rovers ahead.

This season can not end soon enough. The football on display is not good enough and the results since Christmas in the league are relegation material.

The club should ban all the fans involved in the incident. We don't want scum like them at our club.

To have a go at a player being substituted through injury is bang out of order! I would have understood if he wasn't playing well but he was having a fair game and for me as been one of the better players since Christmas. The biggest problem we have is we now have a few fans who think we should be winning everything and we need a reality check!. We went into this season as one of the favourites for promotion and apart from a brief spell around Christmas we have been knowhere near good enough, but we can look back on this season as progress being made with another good Fa cup run (3rd rd) league cup (3rd rd) and winning the JPT final in front of 20,000 Rovers fans. We have to remember that until a few years back we had gone over twenty years without reaching the third rd of a cup competition. Infact we hardly ever got past the first round and now we do it regularly. We have made huge progress in the last five years and lets not forget how far we have come. I personally think we are only a few players away from a very good team and I think we will see a lot of changes in the summer and quite a few surprises leaving the club. We have yet to make a decent start to a season since reaching league one and are usually in the bottom eight by the end of October, so lets hope for a better start next season and lets just SOD next season.

I would agree with the statement HOW FARWE HAVE COME in the last few seasons. Back the Players and Management to perform on the field.
