Kaiser Chiefs Are Doncaster Choice
The Kaiser Chiefs are in poll position in the lastest Doncaster Vital site poll.
The Leeds based band who recently performed a Radio One gig in the town currently have the top two spots in the poll to find a new Doncaster Rovers anthem.
'Ruby Ruby Ruby' which was famously made into 'Donny Donny Donny' by Radio One DJ Chris Moyles is clearly out in front with 53% of the votes cast.
Second spot also goes to the Kaiser Chiefs with 'We Are The Angry Mob' which has 20%. A section of Rovers fans have used the end of the song lyrics and turned into 'We are the angry mob we read the forums every day, we like who we like, we hate who we hate, but we're also easily swayed.'
The clubs tune for the JPT has only received 4% of the vote. The song which was written by John Parr never troubled the top 100 chart when it was released
The poll closes next week, so if you have not voted then you still have time to make your voice heard.
