Donny Ace Calls It A Day

Jim Smith manager of Oxford United today confirmed that Rupis (Rufus) Brevett has retired from football.

The popular left back started his career at Doncaster Rovers before moving on to QPR, Fulham and then West Ham.

Rufus spent last season playing for Oxford. At the age of 37, the former Rovers trainee has decided to retire from football.

Honours:

A Youth Cup finalist - Doncaster Rovers

ivision Two Championship - Fulham

ivision One Championship - Fulham

Rufus was linked with a return to Doncaster Rovers at the end of last season but chose to join the foxes instead.

Rufus also played the game with a smile of his face, and will also be welcome at any Doncaster Rovers game.

Started with the successful Youth team at Donny and was sold for a then club record. Been a good servant to all his clubs good luck in your retirement Rufus.
