Cadamarteri Turns Doncaster Down

Cadamarteri Turns Doncaster Down

Danny Cadamarteri has rejected a deal from Doncaster to join League One rivals Huddersfield Town.

Rovers had been keen to bring in the player after his loan spell at the end of last season.

However, with the signing of James Hayter, Cadamarteri must have realised he would be down the pecking order if he joined.

Cadamarteri links up with ex-Barnsley boss Andy Ritchie who had been interested in signing the player for the Dingles during his time there.

I thought if he'd joined the Rovers he was more likely to be used as a wide man anyway. Its a shame he impressed me whilst on loan last season.
