Doncaster In The Right Greer

Gordon Greer is set to join Doncaster Rovers. The tall defender has rejected a new offer to stay at Rugby Park to move back to England.

The pacey defender previous clubs include Blackburn, Clyde and a loan spell at Stockport.

The 6'2' defender made 39 appearances for Kilmarnock last season.

Greer is expected to sign a two-year deal with Doncaster Rovers.

Vital Doncaster understand that Sean O'Driscoll is still wanting to sign another defender before the start of the season.

We do seem a little short for cover in the defensive areas.
