Greer Signs

Former Kilmarnock defender Gordon Greer has joined Rovers today on a two year deal. Greer has impressed boss Sean O'Driscoll enough in pre-season to be offered a deal, especially with injuries to Graham Lee and Stephen Roberts meaning the squad is light on central defenders.

Rovers are still keen to add a pacey centre half to the squad before the season starts, although that it unlikely to be Portugese defender Marco Almeda who played against York on Saturday.

We definitely needed somebody in the central defensive position. Hopefully we can still bring in another.
