RIP Danny Bergara
Former Rovers 'manager' Danny Bergara has died after a short illness.
Danny, a Uruguayan who claimed to be one of the best coaches in England, has died at the age of 64.
Bergara played his football in Spain, before becoming the first foreign manager in England with Stockport County.
His spell at Rovers can be described as comical. During team talke he often quoted Churchill and in one match he decided to give strikers traditional defenders numbers, in a ploy to outfox Swansea City.
More recently he had been scouting on behalf of Sunderland.
Rest in Peace Danny.
