Doncaster Star Plays For Darlington

Doncaster winger Craig Nelthorpe played for Darlington in the Quakers pre-season friendly against Leeds United.

The promising winger played as a trailist for Chesterfield last week, but the Doncaster star linked up with the manager that gave him his first taste of league football tonight.

Darlington have a large number of ex-Rovers players, with Tim Ryan, Steve Foster, Ricky Ravenhill and Gregg Blundell all playing in the fixture.

The League One side won the match thanks to Dean Beckford's strike.

I hope he soon comes back to Donny, he should be a regular in our side.
