Neil Yates, who ran the line in the dreadful performance at Blackpool is in trouble.
Yates, made several derogatory comments about both sets of supporters on a Burnley message board, hours after the game had finished. He describes Blackpool as a team of 'donkey lashers'.
The Linesman had a lighter thrown at him during the game, by Rovers fans, which the referee has reported.

The FA are now investigating the matter. A Football League spokesman said that they have advised Yates to stop writing on the site.
